Private Loop Tour, Starts and Ends in Marrakech
8 Days Morocco Tour from Marrakech
Sahara dunes, Ait Ben Haddou, Fes and blue Chefchaouen in one circular week, with a private driver and zero backtracking.
Overview
The Full Morocco Circle in One Week
This 8 days Morocco tour from Marrakech is a private circular route that starts and ends in the Red City, so there is no need for internal flights or long backtracking. In one week you cross the High Atlas, sleep near the Sahara dunes of Merzouga, explore the imperial city of Fes, wander blue Chefchaouen, and return along the Atlantic side through Rabat and Casablanca.
The very first morning delivers one of the trip highlights: Ait Ben Haddou, the fortified earthen village that has stood above the Ounila River since at least the 17th century and has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. From there the route strings together Todra Gorge, the Dades Valley, the Ziz palm groves and the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas before the cities of the north.
Because you travel with your own English speaking driver, the loop flexes around you: add a desert camp night, linger in Chefchaouen, or skip Casablanca entirely. Landing in Casablanca instead of Marrakech? The same circuit works in reverse as our 8 day tour from Casablanca. You can also compare all our multi day tours or arrange your Marrakech airport transfer with the same team.

Why This Tour
Why Choose This 8 Day Tour from Marrakech?
Most one week Morocco tours pick either the desert or the north. This loop refuses to choose: you get the Sahara, the gorges, Fes and Chefchaouen in a single unbroken circle, and because it starts in Marrakech it fits perfectly around cheap direct flights into Menara Airport.
A fair warning about pace: this is a full week with three drives of 5 hours or more, softened by constant scenic stops. If you would rather move slower, the 10 day itinerary spreads the same country over more nights, and honeymooners usually prefer the gentler rhythm of our Morocco honeymoon tour.
