What It Means
A Trip Built From Zero, Not Chosen From a List
Most Morocco tours ask you to pick a package and fit yourself into it. A tailor made trip works the other way around. We start with your flight dates, the city you land in, how long you have and what matters to you, then design a route that fits.
You travel with your own vehicle and your own English-speaking driver for the whole trip. Nobody else joins. There is no schedule to keep beyond the one we agree, and if you want to stay another night somewhere, you can.
This suits travellers who already know roughly what they want: a honeymoon with two nights in the desert instead of one, a family trip that avoids long driving days, a photography trip timed around light rather than opening hours.
If you would rather start from something ready-made and adjust it, our multi-day Morocco tours are a good starting point, and every one of them can be modified.
How It Works
From First Message to Confirmed Itinerary
Planning usually takes a few days of back and forth. There is no charge for it and no obligation at any point before you pay the deposit.
Tell us the basics
Your dates, arrival and departure airports, how many of you are travelling and anything you already know you want to see or avoid.
We send a draft route
A day by day outline with driving times, suggested stops and a fixed all-inclusive price. Usually within a few hours.
We adjust it together
Swap a city, add a night, cut a long drive. We revise it as many times as it takes until the route is genuinely yours.
Accommodation, if you want it
We can book riads and desert camps along the route on your behalf, or you book your own and we simply collect you.
Confirm with a deposit
A deposit secures your dates and your driver. The balance is paid in cash to your driver on the first day.
Travel, and keep adjusting
Your driver can change the day as you go. A longer stop, an earlier start for the light, a detour someone recommended.

What a Tailor Made Trip Costs
Pricing is simple: a daily rate for the vehicle and driver, multiplied by the number of days. The rate does not change with distance, and there is no supplement for an early start or a late finish.

Tailor Made Morocco Tours, Answered
What is the minimum length for a tailor made Morocco tour?
Two days. There is no maximum, and multi-week trips are common. Longer routes simply multiply the daily rate.
How many people do you need for a tailor made trip?
Tailor made itineraries start from 4 passengers. For smaller groups our ready-made private tours and day trips are usually the better fit, and they are still private to you.
How far in advance should we book?
At least two weeks is ideal, and more in high season. Planning itself takes a few days of back and forth, and the best riads and desert camps fill early.
Do you book our hotels and riads as well?
We can, if you want us to. Anything we book appears as a separate line on your quotation. Many travellers prefer to book their own accommodation and simply have us drive, which is equally fine.
Can we change the itinerary once the trip has started?
Yes. That is the main advantage over a fixed tour. Your driver can add a stop, start earlier for the light or stay an extra night somewhere, at no extra charge to the daily rate.
Can you provide a guide inside the medinas?
Yes. Licensed local guides can be arranged in Fes, Marrakech and the other imperial cities on request. Your driver is not a licensed city guide, which is a legal distinction in Morocco, so we bring in a qualified guide where one is needed.
