Day Trips in Morocco
A private day trip means your own vehicle, your own driver and no one else’s itinerary to follow. We run 9 routes across two departure bases: Marrakech in the west and Ouarzazate in the south. From mountains to desert to the Atlantic coast, there is a full day out for every kind of traveller.
Where Are You Starting From?
Our two bases cover different parts of Morocco. Marrakech gives access to the High Atlas, the Atlantic coast and the pre-Saharan kasbahs. Ouarzazate opens up the southern landscape: the UNESCO ksar, the gorges and the palm river valley. Pick your starting city below.

Private Versus Group: What Actually Changes
Group day trips are cheaper and widely available in Marrakech. Private trips cost more because the experience is different in ways that matter when you are spending a full day on the road.
Your Schedule
Leave when you want, stop when you want, stay as long as you like at any point. No waiting for a group to reassemble.
Just Your Group
No strangers in the vehicle. No compromise on stops or pace to suit twelve different people with different interests.
Direct Local Knowledge
Your driver knows the route, knows the context and can answer questions about what you are looking at in real time.
Fixed Price
One price quoted before departure. No commission stops, no pressure to buy, no extras added at the end of the day.
Common Questions
What is the difference between a day trip and a private transfer?
A private transfer is point-to-point: A to B, no stops. A day trip is built around the destination: your driver guides you through it, recommends stops, handles context and makes sure you see the right things in the right order. The vehicle is the same. The experience is different.
Can I request a specific language for my driver?
All our drivers speak English and French fluently. For Arabic, Darija or Amazigh, we can arrange on request. Let us know when you book.
What if I want to stop somewhere that is not on the standard route?
That is one of the main reasons to book private. Tell us in advance or let your driver know on the day. We do not run fixed schedules and there is no group to inconvenience.
Can I book a multi-day trip instead of a single day?
Yes. We run multi-day private driver packages across Morocco. If you want to combine Marrakech day trips with southern routes or extend into a Sahara circuit, we can build an itinerary around your schedule. Contact us directly to discuss.
Can I bring my pet?
Yes. Pets are welcome on all our trips. Dogs, cats and other animals travel with us regularly. Mention your pet when you book and we will make sure the vehicle is set up for a comfortable journey for everyone.
Not Sure Where to Start?
Tell us how many days you have and what kind of landscape you want to see. We will point you in the right direction.
